SPC vinyl flooring stands for Stone Polymer Composite vinyl flooring, also called rigid vinyl flooring, which features a stable core comprising natural limestone powder, polyvinyl chloride, and stabilizers. SPC vinyl flooring regarded as an upgrade version of luxury vinyl flooring.

CONSTRUCTION OF SPC FLOORING​​​​​​​

UV Coating

Wear Layer

This is a transparent layer that enhances the resistance to scratches and stains. 

Decor Film

This layer is also called the vinyl layer, which provides the decoration for the floor as it contains the pattern and the outlook of the floor.

SPC Core

The core is made from a combination of natural limestone powder, and stabilizers, ensuring a stable and waterproof performance for the floor.

Underlay

This layer is made from IXPE or EVA foam, which adds a soundproof performance for the floor.

The main reason why SPC vinyl flooring is waterproof is its main material - Polyvinyl Chloride Resin that has no affinity with water and will not be damaged or deformed after being exposed to water, and will not be mildewed due to high moisture. SPC flooring also contains natural stone powder that is a new type of green and environmentally friendly floor decoration material. It also enhances the waterproof performance of SPC flooring.

QUALITY INSPECTION OF FINISHED PRODUCTS

Quality inspection after production helps SPC manufacturers guarantee the stability and quality of finished products.
 
 
 Thermal & Humid Fluctuation Chamber: The chamber is used to provide the simulation of a high-temperature, low-temperature, and humid environment. We can test the performance stability of the vinyl products by detecting if there is any damage caused by the thermal expansion and contraction.
 Tensile Strength Of Click: To measure the breaking strength of the locking system of
SPC floor.
 Peel Strength: To measure the bond strength between decor film and SPC core layer.
 Scratch Test: To test the performance of surface scratch resistance.
 Abrasion Test: To test the performance of wear layer to resist being worn away.
 Thickness: To measure the overall thickness of a vinyl floor tile/plank.
 Rectangularity: To measure the oblongness of 4 sides of the vinyl plank or tile,
ensue each plank can be matched seamlessly.
 Glossiness: To test the gloss of the surface.
 Hardness: To test the hardness of SPC flooring.
Size:  To test the size of SPC flooring.
